  1. Homemade food. Nothing says “Happy Holidays” like a tin of homemade cookies or peanut brittle.  You probably have most of the ingredients around the house, so look up a recipe and start baking!
  2. Give Personalized Perfume. Put two teaspoons of rubbing alcohol and half a cup of water into a screw top bottle. Then, place aromatic materials into the bottle.  Shake the bottle for ten minutes, drain the liquid and you have a personal scent.
  3. 3. Frame something! It is easy to find a low-priced frame and place a poem, picture, or even a work art inside. Even if you aren’t “artistic” it isn`t hard to make something that looks nice on the wall.  Take clean piece of cardstock and imitate Jackson Pollock; drizzle, dollop, and splash away!
  4. Make snazzy jewelry. Take clay and roll it into a snake.  Then, pinch the two ends together to make a wrist sized circle. Instant Bracelet! Wait until the clay is dry and bake it for extra pizzazz.
  5. Personalize a pillow case. Use solid colored pillow cases you already have on the shelf – as long as they won’t be missed. Start by writing initials or a short message on the cloth in pencil. Use fabric paint (also oil or acrylic) to trace the words.
